Jake & Dinos ChapmanMinderwertigkinder - Small Duck Child
The White Cube gallery in London has released an exclusive and very scary set of photographic edtions by Jake & Dinos Chapman limited edition entitled ‘Minderwertigkinder, Class of 2011’. The mannequins currently feature in the brothers new exhibition in London.
Editions of 45 - £60
Referencing their early mannequin work, the thirteen school portraits depict the child-sized mannequins in their current exhibition. Each is photographed in their school uniform with the insignia of a mirror image swastika embellished with the text ‘They Teach Us Nothing’. The faces of each mannequin have undergone a distinct ‘mutation’ as if from some fictional horror film in which they were the product of interspecies reproduction.
